Lenna Brindley-Richards is a clinical psychologist with 17 years' experience, 10 as a Life Line Rape Crisis Counsellor and 7 as a clinical psychologist. She has worked in both South Africa and New Zealand. While in New Zealand she has worked for Infant Community Mental Health Services (ICAMHs) and Community Adult Mental Health and Addictions Service. (AMHS) Lenna is available to work with adolescents or adults.

Specialties or Areas of Interest: Lenna has skills in working with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and has training in using Brief Affect Regulation Therapy to assist clients to gain quick relief from stress and anxiety states. She also has skills in using Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to improve the ability of survivors of trauma to tolerate distressing body sensations; feel and express their emotions appropriately; manage intrusive negative thoughts and memories; regulate their reactions; rebuild the damaged self- image; and manage their relationships.
